My client works within the design and manufacture of electronics products across a wide range of sectors, and they are looking to take on a Mechatronics Engineer on a permanent basis in the Northamptonshire area.
Attributes:
Degree qualification in Mechatronics, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or similar, or be qualified by experience Good knowledge of both electronics hardware and mechanical design Ideally proficient with Altium and SolidWorks CAD software – but training could be provided if you have had experience with another software Industry experience working in a similar electro-mechanical role with transferable skills Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team Excellent communication and time management skills Any project engineering skills would also be desirable Ideally a full UK Driving Licence
Responsibilities:
Working as part of the company's multi-disciplinary engineering team Design and development of the company's electro-mechanical components and systems using both SolidWorks and Altium Testing prototypes to ensure reliability and validate design concepts Working on system integration Ensuring that designs comply with quality and industry standards Involvement in managing projects from concept through to completion Ensuring all relevant documentation is created Analysing electro-mechanical systems Opportunity for personal development
