About Our Client Our client is a leading player in the manufacturing industry, with a strong presence both locally and internationally. The business is a fast-paced manufacturer supplying small parts that go into various industries globally. Job Description As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities are as follows: Assure quality of products by conducting thorough inspections and follow-ups. Develop and implement quality control systems in the manufacturing process. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to establish quality standards. Identify and address any issues that may affect product quality. Drive LEAN initiatives across the business by improving manufacturing processes. Conduct risk assessments and enforce preventive measures. Support continuous improvement by integrating quality control tools into processes. Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry best practices. Prepare and present quality reports to the management team. The Successful Applicant A successful Quality Engineer should have: An apprenticeship in Engineering/Quality field. Background within manufacturing. Intimate knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 QMS and LEAN methodologies. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Good understanding of data analysis and statistical methods. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills. What's on Offer An estimated salary range of £35-£40k. Up to 10% matched pension contribution. Monday to Thursday 08:00-17:30, Friday 08:00 - 12:50.
