Siemens Healthineers Llanberis , situated at the foot of Snowdon in North Wales, we are the sole manufacturer of IMMULITE reagents, used in blood analysers to aid the diagnoses and treatment for patients. IMMULITE is a global brand in the Diagnostics industry, distributing over 950 IMMULITE products for 100 disease states and 570 allergy tests. All of these products are manufactured at our Siemens Healthineers facility in Llanberis and are shipped to our European and American Distribution Centres for onward distribution to labs and clinics in over 50 countries worldwide. Technical Excellence Engineer

and you will play an important role in innovating the future of our business. Focusing on process variability we utilize a data-based approach to improve the performance of our manufacturing systems delivering improved quality and reduced scrap and rework. This

1-year fixed term contract

will be based at our manufacturing site in Llanberis ending on 31 st

December 2025. We are looking for a highly capable and motivated

Process Engineer

or

Process Scientist

with a real passion for continuous improvement to join our established improvement team. Your role: You will lead projects and project teams responsible for the improvement of testing and manufacturing variability associated with IMMULITE products. You will apply scientific and statistical principles and systematic processes to identify, collect and analyse testing and manufacturing data to identify root cause and determine appropriate solutions. You will carry out the appropriate data analysis, data presentation, planning, development of technical protocols and reporting for each improvement activity. About you: You will have a minimum of 3 years within diagnostics, pharm or biotech industry or relevant transferrable experience. You will ideally have a postgraduate or graduate degree in a science or engineering discipline. You will have experience in project management and project delivery, including process improvements/ application of Lean/6-sigma. You will have evidence of experience in the application of analytical tools. You will have to work cross site and cross functionally. Attention to detail, time management skills and teamwork.
