Job Description

Motor Engineer/Vehicle Assessor (Office based) Manchester Motor Engineer/Vehicle Assessor Basic - 38k Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent Mon - Fri - 9.00am - 5.00pm 3 days working in the office and 2 days working from home As a Motor Engineer, your role encompasses overseeing all aspects of motor inspections using state-of-the-art technology to evaluate and audit estimates before authorising repairs efficiently. Occasionally, you will engage in negotiating settlements for motor vehicles, directly liaising with our customers. You will work within agreed timeframes and business parameters, tailored to meet the needs of the company. Constant communication with repairers, business partners, and suppliers is essential to ensure the smooth processing of claims and to achieve optimal engineering outcomes on the first attempt. Additionally, you will conduct audits to assess repairer performance, providing recommendations on repair quality, costs, and customer service. It's crucial to ensure that all work is carried out within agreed KPIs and SLAs and in accordance with our company values. Motor Engineer Requirements:

Member of either IAEA / IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA is essential 2 years of Motor Claims knowledge including a basic understanding of insurance principles is essential Good working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including Audatex is essential Accuracy and attention to detail Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with our customers PC literate with good administrative skills Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary Benefits:
