Role Summary of the Senior Piping Engineer – Steam Supply System: As the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) Senior Piping Engineer at Assystem, you will provide critical technical leadership within our Engineering team, particularly focusing on NSSS Auxiliary Piping across various nuclear facility segments. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of high integrity piping systems, supporting both large and small bore configurations. Oversee the resolution of engineering issues specific to the Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS), focusing on both large and small bore piping and instrumentation. Manage the full lifecycle of engineering solutions from design to site delivery, focusing on safety and risk mitigation. Collaborate closely with project managers and design offices to streamline processes and enhance project deliverables. Oversee the engineering response to technical queries and contractual issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions. Maintain rigorous standards of documentation and tracking, contributing to project planning and risk assessment. Lead NSSS-related technical discussions, ensuring alignment with project goals and regulatory requirements. My profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar, or qualified through experience Proven expertise in mechanical engineering, particularly in piping design and instrumentation within nuclear or similar regulated environments. Extensive experience in the design and operation of general steam supply systems, or preferably, Nuclear Steam Supply Systems Strong project management capabilities, with a track record in leading technical teams and delivering complex projects. Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of managing engineering issues effectively across the project lifecycle. Desired Skills: Knowledge of CDM Regulations and integrated management systems. Effective stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
