THE ROLE
: Following the introduction of a new ERP system, Welin Lambie is offering a
6 month temporary position
for a
Production Planner
to join the team based at their facility in Brierley Hill. This role will be responsible for loading the correct data into the ERP system to ensure the Production team are able to efficiently and effectively manage the workload and achieve customer milestones KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
: Implement production routings into the ERP System considering: Engineering BoM setup Resource requirements Logistical movements of parts (internal & external supply chain) Estimated timescales
Raise works orders. Planning, scheduling and coordinating production of all projects. Look at resource capacity and advise on requirements to achieve plan. Liaise with procurement team to ensure work orders are correctly represented in MRP output. Introduce productivity improvements in production. Introduce planning mechanisms to the role and embed repeatable, documented planning processes. PERSON SPECIFICATION
: Highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail. Problem Solver and able to implement sustainable process improvement. Experience using ERP system/s. Capable in Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proven experience as a Production Planner. Educated to a Grade C or above in English and Mathematics at GCSE Level or equivalent. Ability to manage own time and workload effectively.
