We are seeking a dedicated Engineer - Mech/Steam/HTHW to join our team at HMP The Mount, a category C & adult/male prison. As an Engineer - Mech/Steam/HTHW, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues who vary from Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, to Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference, providing a safe and secure environment for all. We are looking for an Engineer - Mech/Steam/HTHW with any combination of: Two years' experience working in a role as a steam boiler operator or equivalent Familiarity with and ability to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements Familiarity with and ability to work to BG01 - safe operation of boilers Experience working on commercial or industrial steam, heating, and water systems Plumber qualified to C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent BOAS accredited boiler operator course or equivalent Good Health & Safety knowledge Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you!
