Pets at Home Group, the UK's leading pet care specialist, is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our Agile software development teams. As a Software Engineer, you will work on behalf of the Services development team, contributing to the delivery of Service implementations within our services layer.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Service solutions within an Agile environment.
Maintain an appropriate level of documentation.
Define and develop automated unit tests to ensure software quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders and product management to define and enhance products under development.
Contribute to the agile software development lifecycle.
Experience Required:
Minimum 4 years of experience in software development using DotNet and/or DotNetCore.
Strong understanding of Service-oriented design, software development principles, and related technologies.
Knowledge of software/process/project lifecycles, with experience working in an Agile environment.
Familiarity with frameworks, patterns, and practices used in software development, preferably with C#.
Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes.
Experience engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
Experience with cloud-native software implementations, particularly within an Azure environment.
