C+G part 3 or ONC/IHNC Time served (apprenticeship) Good competency with hydraulic & pneumatic drawings / fault finding Experience with motors & drives — Gear motors, reduction gearboxes, overhead cranes, etc. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience / Qualifications

Previous foundry experience Forklift truck / Access equipment training Ability to use lathe, milling machine, grinders, etc. Duties

Daily/Weekly/Monthly inspections and maintenance Respond to breakdowns Report parts used from stock to maintain stores stock levels Assist in the analysis of breakdowns, suggest and implement corrective actions Modifications to plant Installation of equipment Assist in training apprentices
