We are seeking a Quality Engineer on behalf of a leading engineering manufacturer. About the Company: Our client is a highly respected manufacturer with a rich history of innovation and excellence. The Role: As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in championing product and process quality across the business. You'll work closely with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Provide hands-on support to reduce the cost of poor quality within the manufacturing environment. Drive technical resolution for instances of non-conformance. Lead internal auditing programs and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. Promote a quality-first culture across the organisation. Work on supplier quality improvement activities and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented. Participate in new product introduction (NPI) projects to ensure quality conformance. Coordinate the completion of PPAP processes and facilitate root cause analysis and reporting. Support the inspection team in analysing quality data. What We're Looking For: Degree, HNC, or NVQ in a quality, engineering, or technical subject, or relevant industry experience. Strong knowledge of investigative techniques such as 8D, DMAIC, and 5 Whys. Experience with APQP processes, including DFMEA, PFMEA, and quality control plans. Competence in supplier-related quality practices, including PPAP and ISIR. At least six months of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer literacy. Full UK driving license. What's on Offer: A competitive salary package. A supportive, collaborative work environment.
