We are looking for an Electrically Biased Site Service Engineer at our Northwich plant.
What you will contribute:
Fault diagnosis and breakdown repairs of plant and site service equipment.
Planned maintenance and maintenance requests.
Adherence to statutory checks and GMP.
Involvement in CI and Capital projects.
Upkeep of stores and all Engineering Technical documentation.
Support and coach relevant employees in all aspects of shared maintenance.
Undertake training and upskilling programs as directed by business needs.
Provide effective 24/7 equipment care.
Deliver effective communication during Engineering meetings and handovers.
Make decisions within the framework of site policies and compliance with customer codes of practice.
What you will bring:
Competent in site service / utility equipment.
Recognised Engineer Apprenticeship (electrical, mechanical or multiskilled) or ONC/BTEC/HNC.
Knowledge of:
MS Office.
CMMS.
Pneumatics.
Steam Systems.
Hydraulic systems.
PLC Siemens S7, S5, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley.
HMI’s.
Robotics.
Inverters.
FMCG experience, Food Industry (desirable).
Continuous Improvement Techniques.
Ability to work within a team and also on own initiative, building effective relationships with our internal customers: Health and Safety, Quality, Engineering, Production, Frontline Managers, Middle and Senior Managers.
Shift Pattern:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7.30 am - 4.30 pm; Tuesday & Thursday 7.30 am - 3 pm. Competitive Salary in line with experience & benefits package.
