Doherty is partnering with a leading production company near Emerson, NE. We are seeking candidates for a Production Supervisor role on the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) or 3rd shifts (11pm-7am). The Supervisor oversees manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining compliance with food safety and company policies. What you’ll do as a Production Supervisor:
Ensure top-quality production while minimizing costs and adhering to good manufacturing practices. Cooperate with all departments regarding updates and hand-offs between shifts. Responsible for product usage. Keep accurate and up-to-date records (i.e. timecards, downtime records, absentee records, etc.). Enforce company policies in a fair and consistent manner. Encourage suggestions from employees that will improve production. Conduct regular communication and lead monthly department meetings. What you need to be a Production Supervisor:
1+ years of supervisory experience in the food industry. Experience managing a diverse, multicultural department. Skilled in delivering clear and effective communication to groups, customers, vendors, and employees. Proficient in math operations, including fractions, decimals, percentages, and interpreting bar graphs. Ability to speak and read in English.
