We are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Engineer with a mechanical bias to working for a expanding renewable energy provider.
As a commissioning engineer your role will be to check, inspect and test every operational component of the product / engine to ensure the products manufactured and installed have been delivered to standard and specification before full handover of equipment.
Our client is a market leading provider of combined heat and power solutions, gas powered engines and battery storage solutions. Experience in the renewable energy sector would be ideal but not essential as training can be provided and they really do invest in their staff.
We are ideally looking for candidates who are: ONC/D, NVQ level II or City & Guilds Level 2 or equivalent in a mechanical/electrical discipline Time served technician in a mechanical and / or electrical discipline Knowledge of engines ideally gas engines Past commissioning / testing experience Full current Driving Licence Flexible approach to work as this role will require travel to sites across the UK as well as occasional weekend / out of hours works. Travel time and overtime paid, etc In return the client is offering a base salary of £38,000 - £42,000 plus many benefits including ample overtime, pension, generous holiday package and many more benefits.
