Key Responsibilities As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your main responsibilities will include: Delivering proactive and reactive maintenance across operational equipment and site infrastructure. Creating and repairing spare parts using machining techniques, working with tool steel, nylon, and mild steel. Performing mechanical fitting tasks, including bearing replacements, shaft alignment, and machine assembly. Improving and implementing Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules to enhance machinery efficiency through Root Cause Analysis techniques. Essential Criteria To excel in this role, you'll need: Time-served, apprentice-trained qualifications in Mechanical Engineering. At least two years of hands-on experience in mechanical fitting with knowledge of mechanical fitting routines such as belt tensioning, gearbox assembly, and hydraulic or pneumatic system maintenance. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt under pressure. Why Join?
