Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Edinburgh. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within an agile environment, focusing on automation frameworks, BDD practices, and collaborative development. Candidates with exposure to the Finance and Investment Banking domain will have an added advantage. Key Responsibilities:

Agile Practices:

Actively contribute to agile ceremonies such as 3 Amigos, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, Refinements, Stand-ups, and Sprint Reviews. Manage tasks effectively using Sprint/Kanban boards.

Test Automation and Development:

Utilize tools like Selenium WebDriver, C#, Visual Studio, and Git for automation. Mock API responses to validate front-end applications using appropriate mocking tools. Clone repositories, push changes, and collaborate on codebases via Git.

Manual and API Testing:

Create and execute manual tests following BDD principles. Test API integrations and validate responses using mock data.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with offshore developers and Business Analysts in an agile manner. Conduct regular UAT handovers and communicate effectively with business representatives.

Deployment and Defect Management:

Manage and deploy releases to testing and UAT environments using Azure DevOps. Raise, manage, and retest defects while creating and managing test plans in Azure DevOps.

Data Handling:

Apply junior-level SQL skills using PLSQL for test data setup and validation.

Project Support:

Provide support for projects like Order Management to ensure successful delivery and adoption in production environments.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Proficiency in C#, Selenium, and API Testing. Experience working with Azure DevOps for deployment, defect tracking, and test management. Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience in working in agile teams. Junior-level SQL knowledge (PL/SQL preferred). Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and offshore developers. Preferred: Experience in Finance or Investment Banking domains. Familiarity with end-to-end testing in financial platforms or tools. Experience in Specflow or similar tools. Seniority Level:
