Job Description Basic Function:

Oversee civil construction on projects. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Site visits to inspect and measure existing building conditions and observe work for conformance with design. Processed RFIs, change orders, and payment applications. Perform CAD drafting of engineering designs. Coordinate with engineers and contractors. Qualifications/Skills: Strong personal, organizational, and time management skills as well as a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task and work with a group and on an individual basis. Ability to analyze problems and work with a team to develop proficient solutions. Ability to read and understand plans and specifications. Proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Projects, etc.). Education/Experience: Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering or related field. 2+ years of experience in an Engineering or Construction field. AutoCAD experience. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; bend; sit; crouch; and talk; and hear. The employee is required to sit for a substantial amount of time. The employee must be able to lift and/or move at least 25lbs occasionally (overhead, waist level) from the floor. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision, and depth perception. The employee must be able to enter confined spaces such as crawlspaces and may be working from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, or scaffolding.
