Electrical / Electronic Design Engineer Norwich Up to £70,000 DOE + Relocation Package Select is currently seeking an experienced Electrical / Electronic Design Engineer for our client located on the outskirts of Norwich. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a pioneering team within a dynamic engineering environment. About the Role: You will be responsible for developing analogue and digital electrical circuit designs and solutions to support the development and life cycle of naval systems. This role primarily involves analogue and digital hardware design, with additional focus on wiring design for interconnecting systems. You will engage in both new design projects and provide support for existing products and projects. Key Responsibilities: Designing electrical and electronic solutions based on defined requirements Selecting and evaluating components/parts Generating test, interface, and supplier documentation Assisting in initial prototype testing Writing reports, making presentations, and liaising with clients and management Performing other duties as reasonably required About the Candidate: Essential: HND or degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field experience Experience in circuit design, simulation, layout, testing, and evaluation Ability to design wiring interconnection systems Proficiency in creating interface and equipment specifications Capability to develop test specifications and support interdepartmental testing Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate technical information effectively Desirable: Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., Defence/Military Standards) Experience with PCB layout packages Benefits: Competitive salary of up to £70k per annum DOE Opportunities for career growth and skill development Innovative and collaborative work environment Relocation: Candidates from across the UK are encouraged to apply, as a relocation package is available to assist with moving costs.
