Environmental Services Aide , focusing on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in our senior living facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing residents' rooms, common areas, and healthcare spaces while following strict healthcare facility sanitation procedures. Responsibilities: Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and facility spaces Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including mopping, sweeping, and disinfecting surfaces Follow established healthcare facility sanitation procedures Handle and dispose of waste materials according to safety standards Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment Ensure a sterile and welcoming environment for residents and staff Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Two to three years experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting Knowledge of and proficiency in the practices and procedures of environmental services required Ability to operate equipment common with environmental service; must be familiar with the use of detergents, germicides, strippers, and other cleaning/chemical supplies. Able to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions Leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments effectively Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear instructions and feedback to team members Ability to read, write, and follow direct written and oral instructions Basic computer and math skills for record-keeping and inventory management Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with frequent interruptions Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Culture makes all the difference in an organization.
