Candidates bearing heavy engineering prowess, with dexterity in rotating equipment – think pumps, turbines, valves, gearboxes, conveyors, and coolers – are precisely who we need. With your skills, you’ll dive into maintenance, repair and overhauls, making sure our range of equipment stands the test of time and efficiency. Here’s what’s on offer: Annual bonus potential of £1,600. Company van + fuel card – consider travel sorted. 25 days holiday plus public holidays, rejuvenate and recharge! Regular hours, Monday to Friday, with a generous pinch of overtime. Join our call-out rota (1 in 5), because reliability is key. We’ve got you covered; vehicle, uniform, PPE, tablet, and tools are provided. Embrace our uncapped overtime structure. Grow with us; we value training and development. Ideal Candidate Checklist: Full driving license (keep it clean!). Self-starting solo worker who can also shine in a team. Paper proof – we’re talking time-served credentials to ONC & HNC, NVQ, or equivalent qualifications. Clear communicator; articulate in speech and writing. Robust fault finding and hands-on experience. Exceptional at customer service. Physically fit for the demands of the job. Clear for security checks. Positive and adaptable outlook. Ready for callouts. Willingness to travel as needed, because flexibility matters. Your Role In-Depth: Maintain and repair a myriad of rotating equipment. Skilfully measure using micrometers, DTIs, and alignment tools. Document your findings and recommendations thoroughly. Engage with peers and customers on advanced technical levels. Diagnose mechanical mysteries. Carry out necessary commercial and heavy industry equipment maintenance to professional and legal standards. Stand independent in identifying and fixing mechanical issues. Support or lead crucial projects and outages. Desirable Know-How: Power generation sector experience. OEC pump and turbine know-how.
