We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established OEM for an additional CNC Turner! Working on days Mon-Friday (early finish) in a well-equipped machine shop, the work is high precision low volume and 1 offs normally in medium carbon steel. The machine you will mainly run is a Mori Seiki CK450V with a Fanuc control. The company has a very low staff turnover due to its employee care and working environment. Responsibilities: – Programme, set and operate from drawings – Select tooling – Monitor machining progress – Do offsets as required – Self-inspection of components – Maintain machine cleanliness – Adhere to all Health and Safety Your Skills and Experience: – At least 3 years’ experience as a CNC Turner – Able to programme using G + M code (essential) – Works well in a team or solo. – Flexible willing to work reasonable overtime when necessary. – Apprentice-trained or by experience If this appeals to you, please APPLY NOW!
