Peace Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a highly respected Local Authority organization that manages, leases, and sells a diverse portfolio of properties in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Building Surveyor to join a dynamic team and work on a variety of property management and redevelopment projects. The Role As a Graduate Building Surveyor, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality property services. Working closely with a team of experienced professionals, you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of surveying tasks and contribute to impactful projects. Responsibilities Include: Conducting property surveys and condition assessments. Assisting with maintenance schedules, feasibility studies, and project reports. Supporting contract administration and project management duties. Ensuring compliance with building regulations and health and safety standards. Collaborating with internal teamsand external stakeholders to deliver property solutions. Contributing to sustainable building practices within the organization. About You We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for building surveying and property management. Key Requirements: A degree in Building Surveying or a related field (RICS-accredited qualifications are desirable). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team. A proactive and ambitious mindset, with a drive to work towards chartership. Technical aptitude and a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD or property management systems is advantageous.
