Will need to drive around L1 postcode and occasionally to Ellesmere Port. An IT company is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to provide technical support (Windows/ Networking/ Server/ VLAN) and assistance to end-users for computer hardware, software, and network-related issues, mostly for Educational (schools & academies) institutions. You will be driving to various sites daily across Liverpool and Ellesmere Port. The position requires the individual to be willing to do anything between 1st-3rd line support as part of the day to day as it won't always be the high level jobs you are required for. Responsibilities: 1st, 2nd and some 3rd Line Duties Windows Server O365 Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches. Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, diagnose issues, and implement solutions promptly. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with company policies.
