We have an exciting opportunity for an established Software Trainer to join our Academy team at Unite Students on a 12 month fixed-term contract.

This role will see you designing and delivering training of new software as part of a wider technology transformation to employees at all levels through a variety of training methods (in person, virtual and eLearning).

Although based at the Bristol office, regular travel will be required to support our operational employees across the UK. You will need to be familiar with delivering training within groups and to employees with differing technical skill bases. An inclusive mindset is essential for this role.

What You`ll Be Doing

Design, develop and deliver software training content, which includes face-to-face and virtual (Microsoft Teams) delivery. Regular travel across the UK to deliver face-to-face workshops. Creating resources such as workbooks and how to guides. Working closely with project stakeholders and vendors, including UAT and regularly reviewing training support content. Monitoring effectiveness of training, collating feedback and reporting attendance and activities. Build collaborative stakeholder relationships with the business and relevant teams to ensure high uptake and engagement with training delivery. Create inclusive learning programmes for all employees of all IT levels to engage and learn. What We`re Looking for in You

Established and confident software trainer with strong experience of delivering IT training. Ability to work autonomously to create engaging workshop content and eLearning/software simulations. Experience with Articulate Storyline is desirable but not essential. Microsoft Office 365 experience is preferred. Experience with delivering Salesforce CRM software is not essential but would be an advantage. The successful person should have a proven self-start record, be able to work independently and from own initiative. Good communication skills are imperative and being able to adapt based on requirements is important for the role. Ability to create supporting documentation for system implementation and ongoing training. Be an influencer, presenter, trainer, problem solver for all things software system related.
