POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Supporting maintenance contracts: Dealing remotely with customer faults and issues, site visits mainly in the London area Raising trouble tickets and working within agreed SLAs Participating in 365 x 24 on-call rota Some overtime will be expected to support the unpredictable nature of the work Supporting bids for new business: Technical support, site visits Staging and preparation of equipment Dealing with customer questions and working with the Ribbon sales team Working with technical documentation, network diagrams, project books, and technical procedures.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Technical skills required: SDH & PDH DWDM & OTN MPLS-TP and IP-MPLS CES (Circuit emulation services, TDM over Ethernet) EoS (Ethernet over SDH) ECI Products: Syncom XDM BG NPT/NPTi range of IP products Apollo/OTN Nice to have but not essential: VMware ESXi based servers Solaris/unix & linux servers Knowledge of DSL access networks and products Experience of Juniper IP products The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the UK.
