iO are looking for an

Applications Engineer

to join a business who develop and manufacture advanced vehicle performance measurement systems. This includes things such as data loggers and GPS tools used in motorsports, automotive testing and performance analysis.

Due to the size and nature of the team, this is a varied role with automotive communication applications encompassing project management, understanding specifications, testing & market research.

Responsibilities: Manage all aspect of the product lifecycle, working to strict deadlines. Communicate with customers and development teams, reporting back to management on project status. Create detailed and accurate specification to allow develop and testing of new products and features. Provide pre-sales advice to customers, aiding with quotations and on-site customer demonstrations/training. Key skills and experience: At least 2 years in automotive sector (preferably testing) Project management experience Experience within a customer facing role Written and oral communication to a high level Experience in GNSS and INS technologies beneficial Offering circa £45,000, quarterly bonuses and + benefits.

This role will be mostly on-site so someone local or happy to relocate is ideal. You will need to hold right-to-work in the UK.
