Full-time, 37 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 Friday: 08:00 - 13:00 Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer eager to take on diverse challenges in machinery design and innovation? We're looking for a Development Engineer to join our forward-thinking team. This role offers the opportunity to work on unique, tailored machinery and collaborate with customers around the globe. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop machinery and process equipment to meet customer specifications. Conduct trials and evaluate designs on-site and at customer facilities. Analyse equipment performance and propose improvements for efficiency and reliability. Work closely with the Technical Director to advance innovative technologies. Travel internationally to set up equipment and support customers, ensuring successful operation. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation. Essentials: Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering. Logical and analytical approach to solving technical challenges. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D design tools. Skilled in producing accurate technical drawings to industry standards. Willingness to travel overseas several times a year for extended periods. Desirable: Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Hands-on experience with quality inspection processes. Familiarity with manufacturing techniques, especially metalwork.
