Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a role on a permanent day shift? Highly competitive salary on offer. 12-hour shifts, 7 days over a 2-week period. The hours when you're on shift are 06:00-18:00. Benefits include: Increasing employer pension scheme (increases with length of service) 23 days holiday (increases with length of service) Access to health & wellbeing scheme, i.e. GP on demand Access to exclusive discounts across retail, leisure and hospitality sectors Life Assurance We are looking for a multi-skilled engineer who has experience in electrical and mechanical fault finding. You will be expected to work on your own a lot of the time, so will need to be confident in your abilities & experience. Maintenance Engineer duties include: Understand and be able to carry out the plant start up and shutdown procedure Carry out checks and tests on plant and equipment as required by the PPM Schedule or other source Carrying out reactive electrical & mechanical repairs and servicing across the whole site Support all aspects of continuous improvement Ensure that all work is recorded on the Planned Maintenance System To read, understand and follow the machine manufacturers' handbook instructions and drawings Undertake any training that is required to enhance or to keep your skills up to date Assist in the training of colleagues from other departments as required To be flexible and, when needed, available for callout on emergency plant breakdown and absence cover. This may also mean working overtime to provide the necessary cover to meet production requirements To be available through any plant shutdown on maintenance tasks or continuous improvement projects Adhere to the Company's ISO 9001 Procedures and Work Instructions Able to work under your own initiative with minimum supervision on occasion Ensure good communication with all colleagues and supervision The company is prepared to invest in further training & progression.
