Description
We recognise that protecting the environment is one of the greatest challenges currently facing humanity and we are committed to operating our business in a way that embraces this challenge and works to minimise and or mitigate environmental impacts, through innovation and the application of industry best practice. In line with this we are currently looking for two environmental advisors with experience in either waste or environmental permitting. The location is flexible.
Key Responsibilities
The provision of guidance on environmental policies, sustainability strategies, and eco-friendly practices. Monitoring and improving compliance with environmental legislation and standards. The assessment of environmental risks and opportunities for improvement. Reporting of key environmental information and actions to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate. Supporting on the development of environmental permits and licences in England, Scotland and Wales. Providing technical guidance on waste acceptance, duty of care and definition of waste assessments. Collaborating with and training stakeholders to promote awareness and drive improvement & best practice.

Full driving license.
