We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Network Support Engineer

to join our expert team. In this role, you’ll provide advanced support for our networking solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure reliable connectivity for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network support, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service as standard. On a day-to-day basis you will: Management of client support tickets, requests, and tasks Utilise network management tools to support client networks Management of vendor TAC cases Implement standard network provisioning tasks to fulfil customer requests Monitoring of SLAs & ensuring client tickets are actioned and updated Management of customer escalations Supporting Client – Ethernet and WiFi LANs & WANs, routers, switches, firewalls Opportunity to take part in an Out of Hours On-call rota This is a multidiscipline role requiring hands-on technical & fault management capabilities. What will you bring? Essential: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Confidence to work and communicate across a variety of audiences Excellent time management skills and an ability to prioritize and multi-task Attention to detail and getting it right first time Ability to work as part of a team Ability to work pro-actively and to tight deadlines Knowledge and experience in working in an ITIL environment Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network principles in a support environment Working knowledge and accreditation for Juniper, Cisco or Fortinet IP Addressing & DHCP BGP, OSPF, NAT & PAT Routing & Switching QOS implementation and troubleshooting IPSec VPN configuration & management MPLS & SD WAN knowledge Tools – LogicMonitor, Observium, PRTG & Solarwinds Desirable: F5 experience Palo Alto experience Cisco Meraki experience MS Azure Networking Experience working in a Managed Service Provider environment What can we offer you?
