JOB TITLE/LOCATION: Sales Engineer — RBC Corporate Headquarters, Oxford, Connecticut or remote DESCRIPTION:

The Sales Engineer will drive strategic, profitable growth with hydraulics products in the assigned market or market segments. Work closely with the sales organization, establish strategies to penetrate new target accounts and increase penetration at existing accounts. In addition, work closely with the divisional business development managers to establish the product road maps required for sustained profitable growth. Travel as required to support associated projects and activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

Establish and build professional relationships with new and existing hydraulics customers with focus in North America. Maintain an accurate status of opportunities and projects, including activity history and next actions required. Help develop presentation and marketing materials to promote the RBC value proposition to the target markets. Assist with developing proposals for major opportunities at target accounts. Managing contract negotiations with customers as assigned. Collaborate with divisional personnel to drive online marketing initiatives as appropriate. Assist with other business development projects as assigned. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer. Aerospace industry and hydraulic systems work experience strongly preferred. Sales growth in assigned markets(s) (revenue and market share growth). Customer vitality – Growth from new customers. Customer Responsiveness – On time delivery of products and projects. SKILLS / CERTIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) preferred. Strategic thinking and analysis (pricing, market segmentation). Able to manage/balance competing priorities. Industry and hydraulics experience and knowledge preferred. Must have excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Windows applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
