Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in Civil Engineering design consultancy BSc or BEng qualified, ideally with a year in industry working for a consultancy An ability to communicate effectively, writing clear and concise emails, letters and reports Good commercial awareness and an ability to work collaboratively as part of a team This Civil Engineering team undertakes the following tasks
Site appraisals, feasibility assessments Pre-application planning advice, technical support for outline and detailed planning applications and the approval of reserved matters, discharging planning conditions Production of pre-planning reports, including Flood Risk Assessments, Foul Drainage & Utility Assessments Drainage remedial works Earthworks modelling Preparation of detailed design information for Tender and Construction Highways design local authority and private residential / commercial (S38 / 184 / 278) Road and Sewer / SuDS Adoption Contract Management Client's Representative Expert Witness Remuneration and training
