Develop, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for production, ensuring high efficiency and quality standards. Quality Control:
Monitor and improve production processes to minimize defects and ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications. Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions, process deviations and material defects. Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives for process improvements, cost reductions and waste minimization using lean manufacturing principles. Technical Support:
Provide technical guidance and support to production staff, including training on new equipment and processes. Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production documentation, including process instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality records. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with design, R&D, and quality teams to facilitate the transition of new products from development to full-scale production. Software design and Support: STRONG
Knowledge of Labview and / or Python essential to help write and manage calibration software and databases. Experience / Qualifications Education:
Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
3-5+ years of experience in a Production Engineering role, preferably in sensors or related manufacturing. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks), ERP/MRP systems and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, welding and assembly. Software Knowledge:
Labview and or Python experience - ESSENTIAL Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues. Communication:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to Detail:
High level of attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of production. Lean Manufacturing:
Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and experience in implementing process improvements.
