Manufacturing Process Engineer Our clients, based close to Havant have an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their growing team. The Manufacturing Process Engineer will be involved in designing, optimizing and improving manufacturing systems and processes. Duties & Responsibilities: Design and implement new systems and processes to support the introduction of new products. Improve existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. Develop and maintain manufacturing work instructions, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures. Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and quality engineers to ensure all product and system requirements are addressed from concept to completion. Coordinate with equipment suppliers to evaluate and procure high-quality equipment at competitive prices. Utilize Lean methodologies and problem-solving techniques to drive operational improvements. Generate and implement innovative working methods to increase productivity and efficiency. Conduct detailed time in motion studies and report and monitor Maintain ownership of the maintenance database for all machinery and equipment. Support the selection, installation, and validation of new manufacturing equipment. Perform quality inspections as needed, collaborating closely with the Quality Manager and set up as and when required quality checks on the production line. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including industry standards and company-specific policies. Champion 5S throughout the business Ideal skills & experience: Experience working within a manufacturing environment Experience working with Lean or a minimum of Lean Yellow Belt certification Process Driven / experience within a process improvement environment Technical qualification or degree in a relevant subject Benefits: Ample free onsite parking Early finish and dress-down Fridays Above statutory holiday allowance plus able to buy additional holiday Company social events Employee Assistance Programme Eyecare vouchers Cycle to work scheme Friendly and supportive environment Holistic approach to work Working for a company who cares about you as an individual and not just a cog in the machine Working hours: Mon to Thurs 08:00-16:30.
