Job Description Our client is an established manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Electrical Maintenance Engineer. We are seeking candidates with at least 3 years previous electrical maintenance experience to take on a Monday to Friday (days) based role at our client's production facility in Hinckley. The Role: The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day electrical (and some mechanical) maintenance, service, and repair of production and manufacturing machinery. Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Single & 3-phase electrical fault find and repair Working on control panels, motors, contactors, sensors, relays, switch gear, etc. Maintenance and repair of production machinery including conveyors, lifting equipment, and more. Maintenance and repair of buildings and infrastructure including electrical wiring, distribution boards, etc. Undertake planned and reactive maintenance Candidate: You will be a qualified electrician with 18th edition wiring regulations certification and/or NVQ3 electrical engineering. Ideally, you will have basic mechanical engineering skills required to repair machinery and you should have previous experience in a similar maintenance engineer role in a manufacturing background. You will be hard-working, enthusiastic, and highly motivated as essentially this will be a maintenance role of your own making. Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7am to 3.30pm Benefits: Salary £38K - £40K negotiable 28 days annual leave Pension Free on-site parking
