Highways, remodelling existing road network and car parks We are currently seeking a Site Engineer for a highways project. The setting out Site Engineer’s tasks will include, but are not limited to: Setting out on-site (EDM / Total Station) for all aspects of work including drainage, earthworks, roadworks, ducting, site clearance, fencing, and structures. Working as part of a team and assisting all team members as required, while also being able to undertake site duties individually or seek assistance when necessary. Completing a daily diary of works being undertaken on-site with accurate and comprehensive details. Completing check sheets for quality standards in accordance with ITPs. Attending site meetings related to programme, safety, and working areas. Exhibiting good communication skills with team members, sub-contractors, the general public, and the client. Conducting site surveys and producing sketches of survey work and construction sequences. Training / Competency Requirements: CSCS card relevant to appointment. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the civil engineering industry.
