Our client, an Engineering business in the Poole area, is seeking a Production Expeditor to oversee the efficient flow of production processes and ensure on-time delivery to clients. The ideal candidate will excel in communication and organisation, collaborating closely with various teams to prioritise and expedite production tasks.

Responsibilities for Production Expeditor

Manage production management sheets and attend production meetings Enter accurate information onto run lists and capacity planning lists Prioritise production planning and communicate product requirements to the manufacturing engineers Expedite workshop activities on a routine basis and execute recovery plans when necessary Manage customer sales and production requirements, expediting orders from receipt until delivery Declare monthly projected sales to customer orders to ensure accurate planning Ensure on-time delivery to customers and expedite customer orders

Qualifications and Experience required as Production Expeditor

Proven experience in production planning and expediting Excellent communication skills and ability to prioritise and manage competing demands Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of capacity planning and production management systems Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Familiarity with manufacturing processes and customer order management
