Production Engineer
Location: Ferndown, Dorset

The Role: As a Production Engineer, you will play a vital role in delivering engineering solutions and technical support to manufacturing teams.
You will ensure production objectives are met regarding cost, quality, and schedules while driving innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide accurate cost and timescale estimates for bids and projects. Collaborate on product design to create robust and accurate documentation. Ensure smooth production processes by creating manufacturing routings, BOMs, and process instructions. Investigate and resolve production issues promptly. Support lean manufacturing and propose new technologies or capital equipment as needed.
What We're Looking For:
HNC/HND in an engineering-related discipline or extensive production engineering experience. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and techniques in electrical or mechanical production. Proficiency in reading electronic schematics, wiring schedules, and mechanical drawings. Experience working with ERP/MRP systems and designing jigs or fixtures (3D CAD desirable). Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, including Visio). Eligibility for UKSV SC security clearance.
