Production Team Leader
to work in their leading facility in
Telford. For the successful Production Team Leader, our client is offering: Starting salary of 31,606, opportunity to earn just over £41,000 per annum once fully trained. 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights, 05:55 - 18:05/17:55 - 06:05 Permanent role 28 days holiday Health cash plan after a year's service After a year’s continuous service and validation, an opportunity to gain extra weeks holiday. Free Parking Opportunity to work for a prestigious employer within the Telford area. As a Production Team Leader, your responsibilities will be to: Lead and effectively manage a team of General and Machine Operators on a packing line. Ensure the operators work to the defined standards of performance and behaviour. Measure and record the lines performance taking appropriate actions where necessary. Organise and complete product changeovers within the standard planned time. Support the Supervisor to achieve the shifts KPIs and to escalate issues promptly. Complete all quality control documentation accurately and clearly. Apply Continuous Improvement techniques such as 5 Whys to problem solving. Ensure 100% compliance with Food Safety Regulations, quality, housekeeping, and safety systems. What our client is looking for in a Production Team Leader: Previous Supervisory/Team Leader experience in a Food/FMCG environment -
ESSENTIAL Able to work shifts - 12 hour Days & Nights -
ESSENTIAL Previous experience using Continuous Improvement techniques such as 5 Whys -
