Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum dependant on experience

Location: Hybrid with our Bracknell or Norwich offices

This role is a UK based role and any hybrid/remote work must also be within the UK.

For this role, you need 5mbps upload and 15mbps download internet speed.

You’re an experienced Technical Author/Writer who combines a love for technology with a passion for clear, accessible communication. With a solid background in technical writing within a tech setting, you excel at breaking down complex concepts and have a strong eye for detail. You are a proactive collaborator, equally comfortable working independently or as part of a team to ensure accuracy and consistency in all documentation. Your Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Technical Author in a technical or telecare-related industry, ideally with experience in product-focused companies. Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to produce concise, accurate, and engaging content. Proficiency in industry-standard authoring tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, Confluence). Experience with multimedia content creation and documentation design (graphics, videos, etc.) is a plus. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable. Strong organisational skills with experience in managing multiple projects and documentation versions. THE ROLE

As we continue to grow and expand our product range, we’re looking for an experienced Technical Author to join our team and bring clarity and precision to our technical documentation. As our Technical Author, you will be instrumental in creating high-quality, user-friendly technical documentation for our telecare products, ensuring that both technical and non-technical audiences can easily understand and utilise our solutions. You will work closely with our dev, product, and customer service teams to translate complex technical information into clear, concise documentation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for a range of telecare products, including user manuals, setup guides, release notes, and API documentation. Collaborate with product development teams to understand product functionalities and translate technical information into accessible language. Ensure documentation meets industry standards and regulatory requirements, focusing on accuracy, readability, and completeness. Continuously review and improve existing documentation based on product updates, customer feedback, and evolving industry best practices. Create multimedia content (e.g., graphics, diagrams, video tutorials) to enhance the clarity and usability of technical resources. Organise and structure documentation repositories for easy access and version control. READY TO APPLY
