We are looking for a
motivated multi-tasking person
to join the team with one of the regions most talked about contractors! This is a great opportunity to join a
highly successful Civil Engineering business
located in the South West region and work on a varied range of civil engineering projects for a well-respected client base
Working as part of the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for the
setting out, engineering and technical delivery of £10k to £1m size projects,
across a broad range of sectors
Key Duties
Setting out and surveying on various sites containing highways, earthworks, RC structures, drainage, Pressure Rising Mains, commercial buildings, etc.
Use of a CAT & Gene to locate and mark services ahead of excavation.
Check drawings and take offs for accuracy, ordering materials etc.
Assist with the production and updating of Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Site documentation.
Resolving technical issues that may arise with clients & designers.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
What are the non-negotiables
An industry applicable HNC/BEng or NVQ equivalent
Ideally have a year on site experience as a
Site Engineer , ideally to include work on highways, earthworks, RC structures, drainage etc.
Have experience with GPS and other robotic digital setting out equipment
Working knowledge of Microsoft packages required
