We are seeking a skilled and qualified Gas Engineer to join our team on a sub-contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing gas systems and appliances in social housing properties within Bath. Salary Structure: Breakdown: £60.00 per job Service: £30.50 per job Job Type: Sub-Contract Minimum 3 days Maximum 5 days Benefits: Full van stock supplied Flexible working days Opportunity to work within a supportive team Key Responsibilities: Service, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers. Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, identifying and resolving faults and defects. Provide clients with advice and guidance on the use and maintenance of gas systems and appliances. Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all work performed. Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times. Maintain effective communication with clients and team members. Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong knowledge of gas systems and appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers. Relevant qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1. Own van and tools. Full UK driving licence.
