Electrical Installation Engineers

GES UK Ltd are a highly respected and established renewable energy installation company, based in Doncaster South Yorkshire. Due to increased demand within the renewable energy sector we are currently looking to expand our installer workforce. We are seeking Electrical Installation Engineers for immediate starts on a permanent contract basis to work with our installation teams. Responsibilities As a UK Green Energy Electrical Installation Engineer your key focus will be to install as required renewable energy products such as Heat Pump heating systems and associated controls as well as solar PV and thermal systems. Alongside your regular duties as an electrical installation Engineer we expect you to be able to be proficient with the following tasks: Work with suppliers to determine cost-effective parts. Keep up to date with trends in the industry. Evaluate reports from in-service failures and analyse defects. Propose improvements and enhancements. Qualifications 18th Edition Qualified City and guilds 2391 or equivalent Experience with renewables desired but not essential as training will be given 5 years experience in an Electrical role post qualification A Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points Approachable with customers, in domestic and commercial sector Possess good IT skills Be willing to complete the necessary training to become compliant with UK Green Energy’s standards, policies & procedures Someone who wants to develop their skills and climb the ladder in a new industry Generate system specifications for new designs.
