Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Doncaster
Shift: 8:30am – 5pm. Mon-Fri
Salary: £36,000 - £38,000 per annum + profit-based bonus.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced and reliable Electrical Engineer to join their team in Doncaster. As a key member of the engineering and maintenance operations, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of all electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems and machinery used in cable manufacturing to reduce downtime.
Analyse and optimise machine performance, ensuring electrical systems operate efficiently and meet production demands.
Supervise the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new machinery and electrical components, ensuring they comply with operational standards.
Ensure all electrical work follows industry safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Provide technical support to production teams, offering expertise on electrical system issues and assisting in process improvements.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements:
Valid Level 3 certificate in Electrical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, and electronic components.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
