Fire Alarm Design Engineer - Permanent role - ASAP start - Kidderminster - £35k - £42k PA (Depending on experience) Our client is a market leader in the smoke and ventilation industry dedicated to enhancing industry standards through innovation and technical advancements. Due to our client's continued success, they are looking to expand the team in Kidderminster and are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated fire alarm design engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career and become a valued member of the team. You should be positive and enthusiastic, having the ability to provide the client with a premium service and the capability to work independently or within a team when required. This role involves proactively selling the company’s full portfolio of integrated Fire Alarm and AOV solutions to both new and existing customers. You will need to have excellent communication skills. The role involves: You will ideally be a Level 3 qualified designer and accomplished estimator within the fire industry with at least 3 years of experience designing and estimating fire alarm systems. The role may also suit an experienced engineer looking to develop their career (minimum of 5 years experience as an engineer). You will have an excellent working knowledge of BS5839 parts 1 & 6, Requirements of the RRFSO, BS7273-4, BS9999, BS9991, Approved Document B etc. Good IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft software. Have a keen interest in technology and providing innovative and cost-effective solutions. Skills and Capabilities: A positive, self-motivated proactive individual. Ability to operate effectively under pressure to rapidly changing circumstances. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Well organised, with self-discipline and able to meet deadlines. Desire to learn and continually improve your knowledge. Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm Salary:
