Your work will be pivotal in developing standards and best practices, ensuring that our platform is robust, scalable, and dependable. Be responsible for and deliver:

Build and maintain the central infrastructure that is foundational to our platform – e.g. AKS clusters, API gateways. Create and maintain standards and ways of working that enable us to manage key non-functional requirements, such as security and cost optimization. Promote a culture of accountability and ownership by creating self-serve platform tooling that makes product engineers more efficient without them relying on you and your team to get their code to production. What we would like from you…

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or demonstratable knowledge of infrastructure and automation related technologies. Experience in a similar role at a company with a distributed cloud architecture. Experience with containerization and Kubernetes. Experience implementing effective CI/CD pipelines, along with associated scripting and automation skills. You know what good platform engineering looks like and can help us shape the outcomes for this role. Knowledge of DevSecOps and how to create secure delivery pipelines. Ability to make pragmatic, risk-based decisions that balance the commercial objectives of the business with non-functional requirements of the technology platform. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. What can we do for you? You can expect a rewarding experience working with us in our Hybrid role with visits to our head office in Welwyn Garden City. You will benefit from a range of company benefits such as: Holiday purchase scheme, with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays as standard.
