Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a Sheffield based heavy engineering company to recruit a Maintenance Engineer.
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am till 12pm and 12pm till 8pm on weekly rotation. Salary: £40,456
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this Maintenance Engineer role will carry out repairs and planned maintenance on all plant equipment.
Other duties of the Maintenance Engineer include: Work closely with the Maintenance supervisor to ensure the planning of maintenance work is completed. Working with PPM systems. New installations. Attending to breakdowns as and when needed. We would like to speak with Maintenance Engineers with the following qualifications: Apprentice trained as a maintenance engineer (mechanical or electrical bias). Good fault finding skills. Knowledgeable on both predictive and planned maintenance techniques. Experience with breakdowns regularly. Previous experience in a heavy engineering/hot work environment.
