The Role:
Oversee the design and integration of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, and safety systems, ensuring cost-efficiency and quality.
Manage the MEP design team, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and mentoring team members.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to meet project goals.
Review and ensure compliance with design specifications, codes, and regulations.
Drive Value Engineering (VE) processes while maintaining compliance and project objectives.
Support tendering processes with technical expertise and develop engineering reports for project bids.
The Person:
Third-level education in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in managing design or engineering teams within the construction sector.
Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and compliance standards.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with BIM modeling is a plus.
Membership in IET, IHEEM, or CIBSE (preferred but not essential).
