We have an exciting opportunity for an M&E Maintenance Team Leader to join our facilities team working on our Greater Manchester Police maintenance contract at Eccles police station and covering various police stations across Greater Manchester as required. This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, plus participation in the on-call rota. The role: Reporting to the Hard Services Manager To carry out maintenance duties as instructed to the highest standards according to contract specifications To establish and maintain good working relationships To manage all first line interaction with the Hard Services Team in a formal and informal capacity To coach and develop employees to ensure all are trained effectively in process and procedure To schedule and assign duties to employees, and ensure the highest quality of work is achieved To manage employee holidays to ensure effective coverage at all times Ensure SLA compliance with works raised and carried out Carry out regular health and safety checks across all sites within the contract To provide additional support and cover in work as and when required The person: Experience in a similar multi-sited role Must have a full valid UK driving licence due to requirement to travel between sites across Greater Manchester Relevant general maintenance experience essential and of supervising staff across various locations Must be able to pass relevant vetting levels for the client in question Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures Computer literate (CAFM experience an advantage) Our excellent benefits package includes: Generous holiday allowance Company share scheme 2 paid volunteering days a year Cycle to work scheme Season ticket loan Employee assistance programme Company Van Fuel Card Who are we?
