Electronics Engineer – Design and Verification within the RF
team to enable Quantum technologies. Passionate about helping create technologies which can change the world? We may be the right place for you, so get in touch! What You’ll Accomplish: Lead the testing of integrated RF circuits and/or subsystems as a primary duty. Design, build, and test electronics solutions using your skills in analogue, digital circuit design, and RF together with industry-standard CAD packages and test equipment. Write the documentation of the RF and microwave circuits and verification tests. Develop your experience in a broad range of electronics engineering subject areas. Maintain multidisciplinary collaboration and work towards a common goal together with mechanical engineers, software engineers, and physicists. Play a key role in building test systems for quantum computers. Maintain UQ’s position of using state-of-the-art RF and electronics solutions. Help in the planning and scheduling of projects, reporting progress and issues. Engage with project planning activities, risk management, and scheduling requirements. Help with fast turn-around, proof of concepts, and feasibility discussions. Develop a thorough understanding of the firmware and software used to control quantum computers.
