Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Engineering Assistant to join our team, specializing in on-site installation work and machinery servicing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of our projects and the efficient functioning of our machinery at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the on-site installation of machinery, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians to assemble, disassemble, and install machinery components accurately.
Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of machinery to optimize performance and prevent downtime.
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs promptly to minimize disruption to client operations.
Document all installation, servicing, and repair activities accurately, maintaining comprehensive records for future reference.
Provide training and support to client personnel on the operation and maintenance of installed machinery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate logistics, resolve issues, and ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar role preferably in the mechanical/ construction sector preferable but not essential.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical issues.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to upholding quality standards.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as required.
